I hear you’re training for a marathon ?

Running has been a big part of my life for a while now, and I’m thrilled (and a little nervous) to share that I’ll be running my first marathon this April in Milan.

My journey as a runner started as an extension of my love for the outdoors. Sailing and hiking were my first passions, but running quickly became something I fell in love with. What began as a way to stay active and explore new places evolved into a deeper commitment to the sport.

Over the years, I’ve celebrated milestones that once seemed out of reach—my first 10K in 2018, my first half-marathon in 2019, Sierre-Zinal in 2023 and now this. Training for a marathon is an entirely new challenge, but it’s one I’m excited to tackle. Le Footing Club de Lausanne has been my training partner, helping me stay motivated and make progress since 2022.

For me, this marathon is more than just running 42.195 kilometers; it’s about proving to myself what I’m capable of. It’s a celebration of the time, effort, and energy I’ve poured into this passion, all while juggling a busy career, my personal life, and other side quests like being an Olympic torchbearer for Paris 2024.

As the first day of training approaches, I’m reminded that running isn’t just about the finish line—it’s about the journey. I can’t wait to see what this experience has in store and to cross that finish line in Milan, proud of how far I’ve come.
